Toddler Activities: Drawing a Rainbow

Isn’t it amazing how toddlers can easily capture something in their young minds then try to put it down on paper?

We always thought that introducing a toddler to crayons at a very young age was good idea. There are so many toddler-safe crayons out there and so many scratch papers waiting around to be used by the little girl. Though Una’s version of rainbow doesn’t have the ROYGVIB colors, it still makes me proud. Why? Because I never taught her how to draw a rainbow. She did on her own based on what she saw in her books and the kids shows on TV. Not to mention that she’s only 3 years old.

Toddler Activities: Drawing a Rainbow

Drawing and coloring are just some of Una’s favorite toddler activities. It’s no surprise that we always buy her a new set of crayons whenever we are our out. She’s addicted to crayons as I am addicted to colored pencils and pens.

  22. Support your child’s interests. Parents should give the guidance for the kids to be successful someday. I vow to help my kids discover their passions in life and I’ll motivate them to find a living out of it. ;)

That’s a very pretty rainbow! I do the same with my 2 year old also. I always keep a box of crayon in my bag so even when we’re out or waiting for our orders at a restaurant, there’s something that will keep him busy. :-)

I have blogged about it here =>
