Our little nook is slowly becoming a home now. As I mentioned in my previous post here about wanting concrete countertops in our kitchen, I also wanted to have a wonderful set of kitchen tiles to match it. It’s my way of having my dream kitchen nook in this temporary home. We are done shopping with the floor tiles and the bathroom tiles but it looks like we are having trouble looking for the perfect kitchen tile in our home.
To be honest, I am quite confuse as to what I want my kitchen to look like. We will have white floor tiles so I am not sure what to make of the kitchen. Should I go for black countertops and black cabinets, similar to mother-in-law’s kitchen? Or should I opt to have white countertops but with black cabinets? I am having a hard time figuring out what to do.
I saw a set of kitchen tiles in black and white mosaic set (see photo on the right) and it looks really good. It could be a perfect match for the white countertops and black kitchen cabinets. The only problem I have now, if I’m going for this kind of kitchen tiles is the hard work it would bring to our contractors. I’m not sure if they are experts in putting in kitchen tiles like this.
I love the black and white– but personally I chose light-colored tiles for my kitchen to brighten it. I have light blue.
I think I would just stick with white countertops but with this kind of design for the kitchen’s wall.
Kitchen is one of the most used place in one’s house so it’s important to make it as pretty as you want it

I’ve always wanted to have kitchen tiles…kaso medyo mahal..the black and white mosaic looks great too…I prefer darker colors para d halata yung dumi…lol!
That’s what I did in our bathroom tiles hahaha! Not black per se but a darker color, not the usual white tiles.

This would be wonderful kitchen backsplash for the kitchen countertops. Installing kitchen tiles can be very daunting and can be a nightmare if not done by professionals. I hope you’ll get it done then. Looks beautiful!
I have a plan of changing our kitchen backsplash to a glass mosaic tiles. I like the shine it created.
