Hi there!
It’s been a quiet week for this blog but not so much in real life. So many things to tell you but so little time. We had our last out of town trip for 2011 on Christmas Day and it was so much fun! I think this blog needs a recap post later/tomorrow. Whatever works with my mood. Gosh, so many backlogs. Anyway, for now, I am making the most of the holiday. But after that I promise to be more productive.
Welcoming 2012 is a bit different. Contrary to what we did last year, 2012 didn’t start with an out of town trip. It feels like DK and I were too exhausted to travel. And we cannot think of a good place to go and hang out on the first day of the year. So we stayed at home, I finished a book, DK slept the whole day through (because he woke up at 4am to watch NBA Live) and Una-bebe played with her new toy set of pots and pans. Life is good, real good. We were all in one room doing whatever it is that we feel like doing and yet we feel like we bonded even if we are not actually interacting with each other. Just our presence is enough to give that spirit of togetherness.
There are so many reasons that I am thankful for 2011. Generally, we were all in good health and no major fights between us. DK and I were able to cross out a few things in our non-existent To-Do list too.
I am looking at 2012 with a positive outlook in life. More projects, more out of town trips, more traditions to make.
